On May 7th, 2015 the Russian Academy of Entertainment Agency was announced the next tour of Natalia Oreiro in Russia in 8 cities, without being revealed the name of the tour. Among them are Voronezh, as well as Moscow, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk and Belgorod. After a competition organized by the agency on June 24th, the tour was named Fiesta Tour 2015. Around in the beginning of September Voronezh, Volgograd and Kranodar ticket points has stopped to provide the concert tickets. In a few days was stopped to all planned cities and some tickets points informed the fans that the concert was canceled but the agency remained silent. The tour was cancelled due to the fact that the Moscow concert agency Global Communications (formerly Russian Academy of Entertainment) had not paid the artist for last year’s concerts. The court decided that the promoter of the failed tour must pay 5.5 million rubles to the organizer of the star’s concerts in Voronezh and Belgorod. The agency reports that purchased tickets can be returned at points of sale starting from October 10, 2015 up to and including the date of the show in each city. In Voronezh, there were no posters or ticket sales. There was only unofficial information that the concert would be held in the Event-Hall concert hall. On August 19, it was announced Krasnodar city to be added to the tour dates
On September 16th, the agency confirmed the tour’s cancelation and it stated the following: “Dear fans of Natalia Oreiro, OOO Global Communications regrets to inform you that Natalia Oreiro’s winter tour “Fiesta” in 8 cities has been cancelled. You will be able to return purchased tickets at points of sale, starting from October 10, 2015 up to and including the date of the show in each city. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.” The same day Natalia Oreiro made a statement via her website: “Natalia Oreiro informs her audience and her fans that for reasons beyond her will, responsibility and control, it will not be possible for her to make the tour intended for December 2015 in Russia. Natalia absolutely adores her Russian fans and deeply regrets for not being able to see them this year. Natalia is already thinking about how to meet her beloved Russian audience as soon as possible”.
On September 18th, the owner of the agency wrote a long apologetic message for the failure of the tour denying to take any blame: “Good day, fans of Natalia Oreiro, this is Andrey Agapov, the permanent organizer of all Natalia Oreiro concerts. As you remember, I was the one who introduced this artist to all of you and for almost 15 years I have been organizing her visits to Russia. As you may have noticed, I was silent for a long time, reading and listening to the dirt that you poured on me and my company. Today I saw information from an agency in Yekaterinburg that they still do not have a letter about the cancellation of the tour. I would like to note that this is an outright lie aimed at deceiving the viewers who bought tickets. The contract for Natalia Oreiro’s performance on December 11 in Yekaterinburg was officially terminated back in early August. Attached you can see a copy of the official letter stating the reasons for the termination. The reason is banal and simple: this organizer did not fulfill the contract in terms of timely payment of cash tranches in accordance with the contract. However, it is this organization that has been concealing the fact of contract termination for almost 2 months, continuing to sell tickets, thereby violating a number of articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. In addition, they are trying to force you to exchange tickets for other events organized by their company, and this is evident from the text of their appeal on the page vk.com/oreiro_ekb2015 . Although, in accordance with the law, they should simply return your money. With regard to all other information regarding my debts and the debts of my company, as well as other aspects of my personal biography and life, I consider any comments inappropriate. I inform you that our company has not received a penny from any of the companies that sold tickets to date. All instructions on the procedure for refunding funds were received by these companies several days ago by sending appropriate official letters on behalf of our company. The official start date for ticket refunds set by me is October 10, 2015. The refund will last until the date of the show in each city. This delay is due to the need to process and sign payment documents with each of the ticket agencies. Considering that our company is located in Moscow, and the other ticket companies are in the regions, we will need time for postal dispatches and coordination of these documents.
