In September 8th, 2000, Natalia visited Israel for first time. She and her colleagues stayed at The Daniel Hotel, where they gave a press conference. Before the Viva Awards, Natalia did rehearsals of the ceremony and backstage she met a young girl who sing to her the song “Cambio dolor”. On September 9th, at noon she attended along with Facundo Arana, Carina Zampini, Gabriel Corrado, Nacha Guevarra and Pablo Patlis a solidarity dinner for the Foundation Yad le Yad (Mano a mano) who helps children in need. In the evening, she attended the Viva Awards 2000 at Tel Aviv Cultural Center. She received three awards: “Best Actress”, “Best Actor” (received by Facundo Arana) and “Best Music” for the song “Cambio dolor” handed over to both actors. She performed “Cambio dolor” in Spanish and in Hebrew. “Well, the truth is that… I hope you understand what i am going to tell. We are all excited until we cannot speak English. When we started filming “Muneca brava”, Facundo and I did not know each other so well and I can truly say that, besides of being a wonderful soap opera, I met that amazing person he is. Both of us and the cast had very nice chemistry and that’s why today we are receiving this award who is so much far from our country. Its because of you. Thank you very much”, Natalia said.
On September 10th, in the afternoon, she and her colleagues took a trip to Jerusalem and the Dead Sea with a minibus, which climbed 800km to arrive at the Holy City. They visit Jaffa Gate (one of the seven open gates in the old city), the Shuk (Arab market), the Church of the Holy Sepulchre getting a blessing and the Wailing Wall where Natalia placed 4 notes on the wall as well as Facundo Arana. Later they lunched in Art Gallery and they set off towards the Dead Sea, almost 400 meters below sea level. By reaching at Caesar Premier Jerusalem Hotel she tried the spa and the famous cosmetic but also floating to the salty waters of Dead Sea. At 23.37 am the minibus departured back in Tel Aviv. On September 11th, 12th and 14th concerts was held in Tel Aviv at Eijal Hatarbut and on September 16th one concert in Haifa at Congress Center. On September 14th, at the last concert at Culture Hall Natalia and her team along with Daniel Cohen toasted with drinks.
In March 24th, 2001 Natalia landed Jerusalem, Israel for second time in the afternoon where she was welcomed by many fans at the airport. She was seen alone without her mother who was planned to accompany her but due to the 32 years of marriage with Natalia’s dad her mother went to Uruguay. A little later, Natalia attended to a press conference at Ramon Hall in Hilton Hotel where she was not stopping to joke and speaking in Hebrew, showing that she did not forget the words she learned from her last visit. Four concerts was held in Tel Aviv (25.3-27.3, 29.3), one in Haifa (30.3) and one in Jerusalem (1.4). The security was restricted and double from her fist visit due to some incidents and some fans was injured at a try to approach Natalia. Even with that, she did not hesitate to call children and fans to come on stage to kiss them and hug them. One lucky fan had the chance to sing with her “Cambio dolor”. In one concert, 12 lucky fans had the change to meet her backstage and stayed with her around 20 minutes. On April 1st, she flew to Hungary.
On December 17th, 2002 Natalia flew from Buenos Aires, Argentina to Israel for promoting her new series “Kachorra” but also her third album “Turmalina”. She was greeted by many fans at the airport. On December 18th, she attended to press conference at The Daniel Hotel but also she spoke to Israeli News. Later, she headed to channel 2 to rehearse for The Dudu Topaz Show which broadcasted at the evening where she sang “Cambio dolor” and “Cuesta arriba, cuesta abajo”. She attended to a party she gave interview for local medias. On December 19th, she gave an interview to an Israeli magazine, which came out on December 26th, and she was photographed inside her hotel. Later she was seen at Yad Eliahu Sports Stadium to do a soundcheck for the contest named “I want to be Natalia Oreiro for a day”, it was organized by Viva Plus. It was chosen 5 girls out of 2.000 participants. The winner will sing along with Natalia Oreiro. After the rehearsals she met some fans who were waiting for her and when the guards tried to take away the people, Natalia insisted to let them go. At the evening, she attended the contest show where she sang “Que digan lo que quieran” and “Cuesta arriba, cuesta abajo”. It was Natalia herself who announced the result. After the event, Natalia and the owner of Viva Channel they gave an interview to a local media. She also had a meeting with fans where she sat down on the floor to speak with them. The next day she flew back to Buenos Aires, Argentina to celebrate Christmas Eve with her family.
