In April 1997, Natalia, along with her sister, Adriana, and her parents, visited Búzios, Brazil, for a week of relaxation. They stayed at the Casacolina bungalow, located near Geriba beach. They took a walk along the beach where they also took photographs. In the magical beauties of Brazil, Natalia was photographed in a swimsuit as well as with her family for the magazine “Gente” where she gave an exclusive interview.
On August 5th, 1998 at around 7:10 a.m., they were seen at Ezeiza International Airport, where they boarded their flight to Rio de Janeiro. Upon arrival, they rented a Fiat Palio to drive the 175 km to Saquarema. They stayed in one of the bungalows of Pablo’s friend and collaborator, Damian Cesanelli. On August 8th, Natalia took advantage of the good weather to go for a 15-minute run. In the morning they would lie on the sun loungers while having their breakfast, hand in hand, and shortly after noon they would walk two blocks to the deserted Barra Nova beach, where they would dedicate themselves to reading and taking in the scenery. They were accompanied by their dog Tara, the innkeeper’s pet. Before this trip, Natalia was filming the telenovela “Casablanca,” who was interpreting Rosa, which was canceled after the resignation of the screenwriter and the male protagonist Leonardo Sbaraglia.
On April 1st, 1999 Natalia and her then-boyfriend arrived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil at 1 o’clock in the morning to spend a few days of rest. They took a taxi to Saquarema, which is located between Rio and Buzios and 28 km from the beach. They stayed at a friend’s guesthouse. Around noon, they were seen heading towards the beach, which is two hundred meters away. After spending a little time there, they headed to La Cachoeira, a river with waterfalls 20 km from their guesthouse. On April 3rd, their routine did not differ from the other days. As usual, at two in the afternoon they went to the beach on foot this time. Natalia sat down to write in a notebook where the wind ruffled the pages and then asked Pablo to take a photo of her. They spent the evening in Buzios and returned to their guesthouse at dawn. On April 4th, the last day of their mini-vacation where they took full advantage. Then they went to the airport 1 hour later and they were supposed to fly at 1.30 in the morning. Their plane had been delayed, even though all the passengers had boarded. They went to the boarding gate, knocking desperately on the plane door, and then the flight attendant was ordered to open it for them. It was 2:45 in the morning when they took their seats, their faces beaming with relief.
In December 1999 Natalia and Pablo visited Rio de Janeiro, Brazil again to spend the holidays. Natalia made a guest appearance on the telenovela “Los buscas por siembre” in which Pablo participated. Then they went to Saquarema. On Christmas Eve, she was seen with friends on the beach. The next day, in the afternoon, they headed to Cachoeira de Tingui, a river with waterfalls that is a tourist attraction.
Natalia Oreiro and Ricardo Mollo traveled to Brazil in late December 2001, where their visit was kept secret. On December 30th, Natalia made preparations for her wedding to Ricardo, who made the wedding cake herself. On December 31st, they were married on a boat with the captain officiating in the paradise Brazilian archipelago called Fernando do Noronha, 400 km from Recife. “I married an incredible man and I’m still very much in love. It wasn’t a secret, it was a two-way street. He’s a brilliant person; I think he’s the person who believes in me the most, even more than I do; he motivates me a lot to excel,” she said at the time. The newly married held a reception for their friends on January 3rd, 2002 at night to a residence in Buenos Aires, but the press was not allowed to enter. The Uruguayan television channels broadcast images taken by an Argentine colleague, which showed the party participants leaving the venue.
As for her private life, Natalia rarely posts anything. However, in early February 2016 it was revealed that she had gone to the Rio de Janeiro carnival with her friend Valeria Lorca and a few others where they had fun in the rhythm of the carnival.
On August 22nd, 2018 Natalia flew to Brazil with director Adrian Caetano for the presentation of the film “Francia” at the 46th Gramado International Film Festival. Around 3 pm, she participated in a festival ceremony where the winners visit the glass factory in Gramado and take part first-hand in the creation of the “Kikito de cristal” statuette for the awards. Then there was a press conference at 3:30 pm and then the attendees were offered cocktails from the “Manolia” Restaurant in Canela. The statuette was given as recognition of her acting career to a break of the night screening at the Palacio dos Festivals where two feature films and a short film were screened. “I am very proud to be the third woman to receive this award. Brazil is a developed country with many female directors who have been making great films recently,” she said. She showed her love for the country and recalled special moments such as her wedding in Fernando do Noronha. “I love Brazil. It is a country that has emotional significance,” she added.
On September 28, 2018 Natalia and her family flew to Buzios, Brazil to spend some beautiful moments.
